The AKB48 2009 Calendar: I Feel Like Charlie Bucket!
I finally got around to opening my AKB48 Calendar I bought at the theater last week. It is very nice. Each week is represented by a member, with a nice sized picture. And the last two weeks have photos of the Kenkyuusei (Research Students)
But the cool thing is the first press versions sold at the theater came with five random photocards. Lets see who I got...
Shinoda Mariko: I know Ray will be happy I got this one. I think each set came with one "birthday photo". She is wearing the same Rolling Stones T-shirt she has on in the calendar too. As she was one of the few Team A members to actually show up when I saw A5, I'm happy with this one.
Oku Manami: She's good on stage, but I don't find her all that photogenic. Plus as young as she is, she looks even younger than that! She's what, 13? I swear she looks 8!
Noro Kayo: Cool! The interesting thing about AKB48, all of the oldest girls in the group are among the sexiest. I love Meetan, Cindy, and Nozofisu as well!
Matsubara Natsumi: Not one of my faves, but it's a cute picture. And for #5, the pearl in the oyster, the needle in the haystack, the, the...
Kojima Haruna: It took me a minute to notice, but why is the autograph in color, and all over the pic instead of well placed??? OMG, this is a personally signed card! Of Harunyan no less, one of the stars of Mendol!!! By the way, have you seen the new PV for Relax! by AKB48's No Sleeves. This is the first time I have heard the full version. It's a very cool song, kinda Perfumesque.
I don't know how many cards in these calendars are personally signed. But from what I understand it is pretty rare. I know I could probably sell it for a decent amount. But for now I am keeping my new little treasure.
Once again, AKB48 Wins!
