[this is good]

Yes! I'm so happy you read my blog!

Its too bad you can't go to Japan this August, but at least you're going this fall. Hopefully the skyrocketing gas prices will be back down to a reasonable price (which BTW, the US government is planning to recude greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2010. FINALLY. x'D)

I usually watch several performances from youtube before deciding. I finally order the 2008 Winter Box because YesAsia had it on sell for $76 so I decided to get it while it's on sale. Same thing for Sexy 8 Beat concert. Hopefully the Battle Concerts go on sale sometime this year and I will purchase maybe C-ute version or maybe both.

Like you, Chris, I was tempted to go ahead and blog the Battle Concert based on the YouTube clips, but I'm going to wait for my Berryz verson, too ... But there's an even more urgent problem: I've also ordered the C-ute version of the Battle Concert -- but YesAsia has just informed me they can't find any available! That just adds credence to my initial judgment that C-ute won the Battle Concert and that fans will grab the C-ute version before the Berryz version, Just a guess on my part.
Strawberrie, I thinkl along the same lines as you quite often, especially with new albums and singles. They all usually appear for sale online a lot cheaper within a month or so. I saw a Winter Box DVD on sale for $66 the other day. But there was no way I was going to wait 4 months to buy the DVD of the show I went to! I waited on the Sexy 8 Beat concert and got it pretty cheap!
Well Rad, my guess is that 1) C-ute's version will sell out faster mainly because it came out a week before the berryz version. As far as who "won the battle", I got my Berryz version DVD yesterday, so my review will probably go up today! I've never had the problems you seem to have with YesAsia. Did you pre-order it? And did they cancel the order or just delay it? My guess would be that they sold more copies than expected (this is a popular concert) and it takes them a little time to replenish their supply from their Japanese supplier. That happened to me when I ordered a Tanaka PB from them. It took them almost 2 months to get it to me! Lets hope the Japanese labels see this problem as a positive when dealing with westerns fans!
I can't wait to hear C-ute's new single and I love the cover! I've had the BK version of the battle concert for a few days now but just haven't had the time to watch it yet...soon though! :) Just looking at the set list has me really excited as there's so many favorites in there by both groups and while this is a "battle" concert I may not judge them in quite this way as I really love them both so much. Hmm...the recent BK vs. C-ute poll may have answered some questions in a small way of course and I was really happy to see the results were quite close and I'll have some thoughts on the results up soon. Just the thought of seeing all of Momusu's singles performed live by the current lineup is beyond amazing!!! But yes where's "Ai no tane"???...truly their first single and although it wasn't a commercial release it really is symbolic of their very existence in a very very profound way. The copy of "Ai no tane" with group autographed postcard and photograph still remains as the centerpiece of my entire collection for this reason...so happy that a second hand store in Japan was selling it a long while back! ^-^ Ohta recently got a copy too and I actually paid way more for mine! :O But it did come with the event photograph too so maybe that justifies the extra cost. LOL! I'm trying to convince myself of that! :P
